Reiki Hand Placements For Self Treatment

Eye – 1. position

Palms of your hands are placed against the face next to the nose with your hands over the eyes and forehead and with the fingers to your teeth.

Temple – 2. position

Hands are placed around the temples with the fingers covering the cheekbone.

Ear – 3. position.

Hands are placed around the ears.

Nape – 4. position

Hands are placed on the back of your head directly above the nape of your neck with the finger pads touching the medulla oblongata.

Throat – 5. position

Here the hands are held over the throat.

Rib cage – 6. position

Hand are placed over the chest, rib cage.

Abdomen – 7. position

Place your hands on the tummy (solar plexus area) above our navel, allowing your fingertips to touch.

Lower trunk – 8. position

Make a V shape with your fingers and thumb above the genital organs allowing your fingertips to touch.

Shoulder blades – 9. position

Make a V shape with your fingers on the shoulder blades above the shoulders allowing your fingertips to touch.

Lung – 10. position

Make a V shape with your fingers on the back above the lungs allowing your fingertips to touch.

Kidney – 11. position

Hand are placed on the back above the kidneys allowing your fingertips to touch.

Gluteal callosity – 12. position

Hands are placed behind on the gluteal callosities allowing your fingertips to touch.
